Description
A dense, thorny, multi-stemmed deciduous shrub has attractive deep burgundy foliage from early spring to summer and scarlet fall colour. Clusters of small yellow blossoms mature into an abundance of bright red berries in fall. Its fine texture works well contrasted with coarser selections. Tolerant of drought, salt, and urban settings.
