Description
The fine texture of the small, deep burgundy leaves give an overall velvety appearance on mounding, spiny branches. Fall colour deepens to a reddish-black then drop, and showcase the bright red berries that persist through most of winter. A compact growth habit is useful for mass plantings in barriers, border fronts, and foundation plantings.
