Also Known as “Elephants Foot” or “Bottle Palm” the Ponytail Palm is recognized for its elegant bulb-like trunk and an abundance of long, curling leaves. Despite its name, the Ponytail Palm is not part of the palm family and is in fact a succulent making this a perfect plant for the busy plant parent.This plant needs filtered or dappled sunlight. You would want to place it in a well-lit room with windows, but away from direct light. A sunny window with sheer curtains is also a good idea.This is a low water plant, meaning it only needs watering once a week or once every two weeks. Allow the soil to dry completely before the next watering.
